For determining the crushing properties of bulk aggregate applying 400 kN load over a period of 10 minutes.
ASTM C-29 / AASHTO T-19
For determining bulk density of fine, coarse or mix
aggregate. Manufactured from heavy duty gauge
steel these bulk density measures comply with the
requirement of either BS812 or ASTM C29. Other
than the 3 litre size all measures incorporate carrying
handles as standard.
ASTM C-128 / AASHTO T-84
For determining the water absorption of fine aggregate at
saturated surface dry. The equipment is supplied complete
and ready to operate with a cone, tamper, mixing bowl,
glass plate, spatula and volumetric flask 500 ml capacity.
ASTM C-127 / AASHTO T-85
For determining specific gravity and water absorption of
coarse aggregate. A mechanical lifting device is used to
raise the water tank through the frame height immersing
the speciment suspended below the balance.
Consist essentially of a wire basket, water container and
heavy duty balance 20 kg capacity.
ASTM C-127 / AASHTO T-85
For determining specific gravity and water absorption of
coarse aggregate. The equipment is supplied complete
and ready to operate with a wire basket, 20 ltr water
container cpacity and digital balan balance 6100 gr
x 0.01 gr capacity .
ASTM C-40 / AASHTO T-21
For an approximate determination of organic
compound in sand. Ordering information.
ASTM C-88 / AASHTO T-104
For determining aggregate resistance to desintegration
by saturated solution of sodium sulfate or magnesium
sulfate. Ordering Information
The Void Content Apparatus is used to determine the
uncompacted void content of a fine aggregate sample.
The method indicates the angularity, sphericity, and
workability of fine aggregate in a mixture for which it
may be used. Each sample is mixed with a spatula until
it is homogeneous. After filing the hopper, the sample
is allowed to flow into the 100ml cylindrical measure.
The measure has a locating hole to fit a lug on the
Funnel Stand to ensure each sample is tested with
precesion and repeatability. Once the user strikes off
excess material, mass in determined and void content
is computed. Pan as a sample retainer Included with
the 100ml copper Cylindrical Measure. Funnel with
specified hopper. Funnel Stand and a Glass Plate to
calibration.
The strength of rock is an important property
which may measured in a number of ways.
Point-load strength testing is particulary useful
tes method which can be perfomed on specimens
requiring little oor no preparation prior to testing.
The test can perfomed on site or in the laboratory
with variations such as the diametral test, the block
test and the irregular lump test. Other application
include the determination on site of a strength index
for concrete and the prediction of cube strength
from point load index.
